Supplier Diversity Program for Perin Discovery, LLC

Introduction:

Perin Discovery, LLC is a small business located in Denver, Colorado, specializing in digital forensics and eDiscovery services. We are proud to be a Native American-owned company, with our owner being a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. As part of our commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion, we are developing a Supplier Diversity Program to ensure that we engage a diverse pool of suppliers and contribute to the economic growth of underrepresented communities.

Program Objectives:

  1. Promote Diversity: Promote diversity within our supply chain by actively seeking out and engaging suppliers from various underrepresented groups, including minority-owned, women-owned, veteran-owned, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses.
  2. Support Local Communities: Strengthen the local economy by prioritizing local suppliers and businesses within the Denver, Colorado area whenever possible.
  3. Enhance Supplier Relationships: Foster strong, mutually beneficial relationships with diverse suppliers while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.

Program Implementation:

  1. Supplier Identification and Outreach:
    1. Identify potential diverse suppliers through various channels, including local business associations, certifications, and online databases.
    2. Establish a database of potential diverse suppliers.
    3. Actively outreach to diverse suppliers to gauge their interest in partnering with Perin Discovery, LLC.
  2. Vendor Registration:
    1. Create an online vendor inquiry portal on our company website, allowing diverse suppliers to express their interest in working with us.
    2. Provide guidance and assistance to potential suppliers in navigating the registration process.
  3. Supplier Certification:
    1. Accept certifications from recognized diversity certification agencies, such as the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), or LGBTQ+ Business Enterprise (LGBTQBE) certifications.
    2. Encourage potential diverse suppliers to obtain relevant certifications if they are not already certified.
  4. Procurement Goals:
    1. Set annual procurement goals for sourcing goods and services from diverse suppliers.
    2. Monitor and report progress toward achieving these goals on a regular basis.
  5. Supplier Evaluation:
    1. Evaluate diverse suppliers based on their capabilities, quality, pricing, and responsiveness.
    2. Provide feedback to suppliers for continuous improvement.

    1. Publish an annual report on our supplier diversity efforts, including the number of diverse suppliers engaged, the percentage of procurement spent with diverse suppliers, and progress toward our diversity goals.
